(See addendum for roster of All-American players.)

Additional details are available at www.underarmourlacrosse.com

"Under Armour traces its roots back to the game of lacrosse and in launching the All-America Lacrosse Classic, we're creating a milestone event for the sport," commented Steve Battista, Vice President of Brand for Under Armour. "Under Armour recognizes that these players are the future of the great sport of lacrosse. We have always been committed to providing players with a performance advantage on the field, as well as supporting the sport's rapid growth across the country."

The Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Classic will take place June 16th-18th at Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland. The weekend event will include clinics and scrimmages and culminates in a series of competitive games. Beginning at 1 p.m. and then at 3 p.m. on the 18th, the underclassmen girls and then boys respectively, take to the field for the Baltimore vs. Washington "Undeniably the Best" Game. The All-America girls' match will take place on June 18th at 5 p.m. The unprecedented live telecast of the senior boys' All-America game by ESPN U, the 24-hour college sports network, will highlight the close of the Classic games and takes place on June 18th at 7 p.m.

"This roster of All-American players represents a stellar group of athletes," commented Robert Carpenter of Inside Lacrosse magazine. "The selection committee was comprised of some of the nation's most knowledgeable coaches and athletic professionals who were tasked with selecting a finite number of All-Americans from our pool of highly qualified and accomplished athletes. This roster embodies the best of the best, and we are confident that these players will make this a truly exciting and highly competitive event."

Athlete nominations were accepted from coaches and athletic directors via on-line submission at www.underarmourlacrosse.com through May 14th. Inside Lacrosse magazine organized and steered the selection committee in the processing of nominated athletes through a series of selection rounds which involved 500+ man hours researching the top players in the country. All-American players were judged and ultimately selected based on criteria established by the committee.

The All-American girls' and underclassmen (boys' and girls') roster will be released next week.
